Being a Peer Support Specialist, for me, means I get to help save a life like mine has been saved. I’ve been in recovery for 3 years. My addiction to alcohol, drugs, manipulation of people, places, and things for the past 20 years started from trauma.
I made the decision to get well. My life has changed drastically and each day is a reward. Now I want to share my experience, listen, and be there for others who want to fight this battle. Let’s Get To It!

Audrianna

In order to guide others experiencing mental health difficulties, I believe quality support is comprised from lived experiences, compassion, and empathy. In the past, I worked through trauma, depression, and anxiety disorders which gave me a great deal of psychological insight and empathy. These struggles fueled my passion to help others in similar situations!
I have my Bachelor’s degree in psychology and in 2018 I received the Honorary Undergraduate Scholar (HUS) Award from The New England Psychological Association. I have a multitude of experience working one on one with clients with varying mental health disorders, too. I would love to listen and offer support to others facing similar illnesses and also share my experiences!
